Based from the Research Outreach Station, 99% of the Kasuy or cashew nuts in the Philippines are from Palawan. You can find these delicious, hearty nuts in the local market and souvenir shops, and watch up close how these are manually produced in the backyards of humble women in Barangay San Jose. BetweenMay and June is the best time to avail of these high-protein, crunch, when they are in season.
