Mother Tree

Widely known as the Mother Tree, a gigantic century old Ipil tree that is around 150 years old. and is about 60 to 80 feet high. Its prop roots, which the local calls “dalig” is so enormous that the diameter of eight people armstretched are needed to surround the tree. Located at the foot of Mt. Beaufort and surrounded by different hues of greens, getting here requires a guide from the center of Sitio Bualbualan.  It can be reached via an hour of relaxed hike or a vehicle via a newly developed feeder road.
