Language

Cuyonon and Filipinos are two widely used languages in Puerto Princes. Locals can also speak and understand English and Bisaya.   

Best Time to Visit

Puerto Princesa is the best visited during the Balayong Festival (March 4), which celebrates the beautiful Palawan Cherry Blossoms. The most pleasant time to explore Puerto Princesa is during the dry season between December and May. It can get a little too hot between April and May, though, and rainy between June and November.

Most of the hotels, restaurant, and cafes in the busy city center come with a fast internet connection, while those in the countryside can have a slow or spotty connection. Local mobile carriers Smart and Globe both have LTE connectivity.
